Question of the Week

It's that time again!!
Remember.. I want you to answer the question
 in the comment section too!
if you have a question to ask for an upcoming week add that in the comments too, if you ask a question and I use it you will win a prize!!

Here is today's question!!
From our dedicated follower Karen Ladd
"What do you do with the cards and projects that you make? Do you give them away or let them pile up?"

AngelaI try and give them away unless it's something that I absolutely love that I made! I always feel like I never have the occasion of s card that I need though!

VeronicaLol, both, some I give to friends or family. The rest just pile up.

MarjiLast year I discovered a lady selling cards at a mall. I send her a bunch of cards every few months and she sells them for me. I get a little money here and there. Otherwise they pile up. I quit sending them to extended family because they aren't appreciated.

While I don't intend to, I allow them to pile up....and up....and up.

Sue-  I have piles of cards and other projects coming out of my ears. Whenever I need to send a birthday card I always make a fresh one, it just seems more personal to me than pulling one from my stash.

Connie- I actually have quite a stock pile for my own personal use. I send out all my own cards, I refuse to buy any! I also sell my cards on Etsy and at craft shows. I have also donated cards to places like women's shelters, to the military, Hospitals, Senior Centers and to other organizations. SO if you have a huge pile of cards that need to find a home may I suggest you donate them to organizations in your local area.

Got a question for us...don't be shy, ask us!!

One winner, picked at random, will receive a gift certificate to Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  Wouldn't you love to win that?

DT Day with Bugaboo Stamps

Sue from Sue's Paper Crafts here with you today. It is day to show off what I have made with my image from this month's sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps.

Once again I did my best to follow this month's challenge theme of Use Your Stash.
The colored pencils I used to color my image have been hanging around since 2011 or 2012. I also used a Crafty Secrets Creating with Vintage CD to print the flowered paper on the back of the bookmark, I've had that for many years also.
The stamps I used on the back for the sentiment are from Inky Antics, I have had them since 2012. The flower stamp is from Hero Arts and a new item to my stash but they were on clearance so they have been in stock at the store where I bought them for a really long time.
I also added some Stickles to the flower centers and I have had them since 2010.
Please come on over to Connie Can Crop and play along with this month's Use Your Stash Challenge.

Guest DT Georgiana

I am so excited to announce our next Guest Designer for 2017 here at Connie Can Crop...
Georgiana Carson
Carsons Creations
So excited to have my talented friend Georgiana back again and joining us this month!

Hello Crafty Friends, Happy Monday! This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and I am super thrilled to be Guest Designer this month at Connie Can Crop. What a fabulous opportunity to share with others. The challenge...Use Your Stash. Perfect! I have plenty of crafty supplies that need to be used. Here is My Guest Designer project... I created a matching tag and card for my one of my very good teacher friends that has been my walking buddy all summer. We meet almost every day at 6:15am and walk for one hour (which is about 3.6 miles). We talk about anything and everything. Lately we have been on a healthy food kick, so I bought her a salad cookbook, which will go with this set.
First, I started with the tag. The base and sentiment is by Jaded Blossom and then I stamped all fab flowers by Lawn Fawn. The 3 Girl JAM ribbon was in a plastic container in the closet and I was glad to be able to use it with these purple flowers.
I created the card next. I decided to use the scallop rectangle mat and then I used my Cuttlebug to die cut the embroidered thanks into the cream card stock. Instead of embroidery floss, I used purple craft thread since I have a bunch in my stash. I did watch a video to make sure I was sewing in the correct direction.
The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Encouragement stamp set.
Thanks Connie for allowing me to be your Guest Designer. Looking forward to next time. Stay Creative, Georgiana

BE sure to stop by Georgiana's Blog and leave her some love! She was an awesome Guest DT!!

Interested in being a guest DT on my blog? Send me an email or
message with a photo of your favorite project and let me know!
